Sounds Of: November

Sounds Of: November

It’s been a really crazy month and I’m finding myself pressed on time to even provide a lengthy write up (sorry!) but here’s a few super quick words on my fave sounds from November!

RUNNING TOUCH – EQUALISER {FT. I.H}

30 demo’s and 7 months later, apparently! This Melbourne dude is yet to disappoint.

TIA GOSTELOW – HUNGER

“Hunger” was penned with Hannah and Liz from Little May and inspired by T’s experience with tall poppy syndrome in high school. Such a strong display of musical maturity, particularly given the fact that she’s only just turned 18!

VINCENT SOLE – NEW VIBE

Feels like Vincent is going back to basics and I am here for it. Slink n bass, bby!

KING IV – BUMP

My go to song this month whenever I wanna feel like a boss ass bitch.

LANKS – MY OWN MYSTERY {FT. NGAIIRE}

Not only a gorgeous collab, but a beautiful story behind this one about getting through a long distance relationship.

THE OUTDOOR TYPE – MIDDLE OF THE ROAD

Sunny, suburban indie-rock that I wanna just BLAST in my car.

TROPHY EYES – HURT

Their poppiest track to date but that’s no flaw. If anything, it's a strong reflection of the band’s progression and versatility.

EVES KARYDAS – THERE FOR YOU

Hannah’s been a big lady crush of mine ever since she uploaded “Zen” to triplejunearthed.com back in 2013 and I’ve been hanging out for new music from her for soooooooo long! Worth the wait.

LANE-HARRY X IKE CAMPBELL – THE DASH

Two dudes outta the Gold Coast making some sweet, swaggy hip hop.

KLP – GOOD TIMES {THE EASYBEATS TRIBUTE}

I don’t know what I love more, the fact that KLP covered THIS Easybeats classic or that her dad is slappin bass on it! What a fam, what a vibe!

This snazzy snap of LANKS was taken by Michelle Grace Hunder. Check out her work here.
